Lotus seeds, Very tasty treat.

I never knew that you can eat Lotus Seeds until I came to Cambodia. These seeds are tasty and is a good snack when waiting for the main course to come. I don't really see them that much here in Battambang but if you do come across them, try them out and let me know what you think. A batch of these are real cheap and should run you about 1000-2000 Riel. These pictures were taking while I was Kamping Pouy Reservoir.

Cafe Eden in Battambang

This place is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and chill out. This place is located on Street 1 in between 119th and 121th street. From 3 pm to 7 pm, happy hour is in effect so you can get a glass of ice cold beer for .50 cents. They also have a good selection of good coffee and a menu that can satisfy the most picky. The food is mostly western but that's what I like about it. They have a breakfast menu, salad menu, sandwiches and great appetizers. So if your new to Battambang, don't forget to stop by here and enjoy the nice atmosphere. The upstairs area is air conditioned and since it's located on street #1, you get to see the busy people of Battambang go about their daily lives.
