With so many types of different places popping up in Battambang, there is no lack of finding whats right when it comes to food. Especially when your in a hurry and need something to get you to your next meal.                         (Updated) The Gecko has moved to street #1 and is now called The Kitchen.   Food Gecko Cafe is located on the corner of Street 3 and 119. The place sits atop Gecko Moto's. I visit this place lot's of times during my stay in Battambang and when it comes to wanting a little western taste, this is one of my favorite spots. Cafe Eden in Battambang

This place is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and chill out. This place is located on Street 1 in between 119th and 121th street. From 3 pm to 7 pm, happy hour is in effect so you can get a glass of ice cold beer for .50 cents. They also have a good selection of good coffee and a menu that can satisfy the most picky. The food is mostly western but that's what I like about it.  They have a breakfast menu, salad menu, sandwiches and great appetizers. So if your new to Battambang, don't forget to stop by here and enjoy the nice atmosphere. The upstairs area is air conditioned and since it's located on street #1, you get to see the busy people of Battambang go about their daily lives.
