Four teenagers were arrested on Wednesday after they and three other men allegedly stole a motorbike from four men in Kandal’s Takhmao town. Police said that the suspects shared a drink with their victims on Tuesday and then followed them home. The four were less happy to see them the second time, especially when the youngsters attacked them with rocks and wooden sticks and left them bike-less. Police said the 24-year-old suspect and his companion broke into a man’s home and were walking away with the bike when police patrolling the area spotted them. Police spotted the women in a dark corner and after searching them, found a small package of meth. They arrested the women, who claimed they were hired to distribute the stuff by a man whose identity they did not know. A 30-year-old mentally ill man was killed by a speeding car on Tuesday in Preah Sihanouk’s Prey Nop district. Police said the man was a migrant whose habit was to roam around the district. On the day of the incident, the man was walking on a national road when a Camry hit him from behind, killing him instantly. The driver escaped on a moto-taxi, leaving his car, which police seized.
