Since the cancellation of one of Cambodia's known festival, many have traveled to the beach to enjoy some water excitement and more with their families and friends. Usually, this time of year, many travel to different places like Phnom Penh, Siem Reip, and Battambang to check out the boat races but since the passing of the late King, boat racing was cancelled and many had to find other sources of entertainment.

Cafe Eden in Battambang

This place is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and chill out. This place is located on Street 1 in between 119th and 121th street. From 3 pm to 7 pm, happy hour is in effect so you can get a glass of ice cold beer for .50 cents. They also have a good selection of good coffee and a menu that can satisfy the most picky. The food is mostly western but that's what I like about it. They have a breakfast menu, salad menu, sandwiches and great appetizers. So if your new to Battambang, don't forget to stop by here and enjoy the nice atmosphere. The upstairs area is air conditioned and since it's located on street #1, you get to see the busy people of Battambang go about their daily lives.
