What Battambang needs.

Living in Battambang for the past year, I have not went without my times of distress. i mean everyday is an experience with in it self and at random times, thing's can happen. Some for the good, some for the worst. It's really random and that's what I like about this place. When I first moved to Battambang, it was a real culture shock for me. I mean I really had no clue what Cambodia was like or what could happen while I was here.  Even being born in Srok Khmer, being raised in California, U.S. most my life made me forget most of my heritage. The closes thing I had to my forgotten  heritage was still being able to speak the language,  if any good at that. So yes, that's how much shock I talk about when I mention (CULTURE SHOCK!)

Ground broken on new mall in Phnom Penh | Business

Speaking for myself, there are many things I would like to find here in Cambodia at the moment. But only time will tell. Ground broken on new mall in Phnom Penh | Business

Police in Veal Veng district said the 20-year-old had gotten into a drunken argument with a neighbour and, his debate skills failing him, produced a pistol, which he fired into the air. Knowing the cops were on the way, he hid the gun, only to melt under questioning and show them where he’d hid it. Before being sent to court, police said, he explained that he had “found” the gun in Phnom Penh. Nokorwat Stick-wielding farmer beats fruit thief to a pulp A seemingly disproportionate response left a teen fruit thief seriously injured on Saturday. The 16-year-old had climbed a palm tree and was picking the fruit when the tree’s owner, a farmer, materialised with a wooden stick in hand. Furious, the farmer bashed the teen on the legs and waist until hospitalisation was required. The parents filed a complaint with police and the farmer has been arrest...

PM urges North Korea to call off rocket launch | National news

The world seems to have so much money to throw away for unnecessary reasons. Like missiles and chemical weapons that could destroy mass groups of civilization. No wonder most people think the world is going to end in some atomic explosion. Get it right world leaders. We need more food and better economy so think about that. Yazaki Corporation to launch Koh Kong plant | Business

Of course this benefits the corporation but does this also benefit the people. Will those who work for this company get good wages? Only time will tell but it looks like those who invest in Cambodia look only to the cheap labor and being able to use those who are looking for jobs to the maximum of  their ability. On the positive note, this does give many that are jobless jobs to support their families and so forth. Yazaki Corporation to launch Koh Kong plant | Business
