Cambodia lose last game in the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup | Sport

The 2-0 loss to hosts Myanmar at the Thuwunna YTC Stadium was probably a fair reflection on the quality on display, although it wasn’t for a lack of trying by Hok Sochetra’s men.  The newly installed head coach was looking to turn a corner with Cambodia after an inglorious run under previous appointment Lee Tae Hoon of South Korea. However, the 39-year-old will be hit with the realisation that their regional rivals have all stepped up their game significantly, leaving the Kingdom in the dust. Toll Royal Railways expands | Business

Toll Royal Railways signed two freight logistics agreements with Siam Concrete Group and United Logistics and Distribution at their offices in Phnom Penh’s Central Railway Station yesterday.  Kerr believes January 2013 will bring an additional opportunity for TRR to transport SCG’s bagged cement to Sihanoukville.  “It’s been announced that the line will be open through to the port of Sihanoukville in January 2013,” he said. “This opens up further opportunities for us to work with SCG in the transport of domestic bagged cement to Sihanoukville and the import of up to 8,000 tonnes of coal per month.” Toll Royal Railways expands | Business

Stung Treng men accused of killing younger brother | National news

Following a drunken argument, the two older brothers of the Sesan district family, farmers Lob Chansaboth, 48, and Lob Chansokha, 47, stabbed their sibling, Lob Sibunna, 38, in the face with a knife, killing him instantly, said Duong Sivutha, director of the penal crime police office in Stung Treng. Talking about being a bad drunk. Well I can say that they might get enough time to sober up and and think about what they did.  If alcohol throws you in a drunking rage, then good suggestion is you shouldn't be drinking. [Town VCD Vol.14 - HD] : Town Lambada version 2012 - Meas Soksophea Ft DJ Kdep

Very different from the traditional Khmer music. Honestly, Cambodia being opened to the world will only bring change. Some welcome the change and others are probably too old fashion to want change. In in this sense, change is good and people should be able to express themselves through the music they make with out being discriminated on. So enjoy!

Cost of Living in Cambodia. Prices in Cambodia.

Many know out here that it doesn't take much to live. I can go with only spending less than 3 U.S. dollars here and be good. The problem I have is that there are many places here that make good money and you can tell by the nice cars that are starting to appear on the streets of Cambodia. A friend that's been living here for 20 years told me the other day that Cambodia is not a broke country. The money is just in the wrong hands making it hard for those looking for opportunity to find decent work to support their loved ones. Also sad is the fact that many that have jobs are getting paid next to nothing. Those that work have to work all day 7 days a week just to make $100.00 bucks and even though that might be a lot for some, the honest truth is that it's not even close. Cost of Living in Cambodia. A Technology Boom in Cambodia? - Technorati Technology

A Technology Boom in Cambodia? - Technorati Technology Many in Cambodia are seeing the rise of smart phone, tablets and faster internet speed. Pretty soon, the way things are going, I see Cambodia being able to catch up to neighboring countries in regards to faster internet service which will allow for more people here to get involved. It's  interesting to know that a lot of Khmer's are using the internet, even though it's mainly Facebook, to one day be able to use the internet for what its for, an information HUB tool for information and more. Not only that, but the internet will open up the rest of the world to the Khmer's giving more insight on opportunities that lay ahead.

The White Rose in Battambang

The White Rose is Khmer owned and is located on the corner of St 121 and Road 2.5. This place serves good Khmer dishes for reasonable prices and some western foods. They also serve some of the best shakes in town. This place has a balcony, patio area which visitors can sit and watch the streets below where vendors sell their wares to those walking the streets. The White Rose also has a nice desert menu and ice cream that reminds me of home. This place also offers free Wi-Fi. Cleanness When the day starts of here, the place is set nice, with your typical glass, silver ware wrapped in cloth and set up nicely on the tables. I guess when this place gets real busy, the place starts looking neglected due to short of workers and the many things that are going on. To me, I think the place is under staffed and would probably run better if they were up to pace with workers. But besides that, everything else is typical Cambodia so if you don't mind that, then everything s...
