Man spots motorbike in the hands of new owner
The problem with buying stolen property is that you never know when you’ll run into its original owner. That’s what a 26-year-old man in Bavet town learned on Friday when police arrested him for buying a stolen motorbike. The bike’s former owner noticed the purchaser with the bike that had recently been his and told the police, who arrested the buyer. After saying he bought the bike from a teenager, he was sent to court. Police are searching for the teen. Nokorwat

A 23-year-old farmer in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Thursday apparently thought he had worked hard enough to win his daily bread without also waiting in line. Police said the farmer had asked a bread vendor for a loaf but was told to wait while the vendor attended to other customers. After waiting several minutes, the suspect flew into a rage, grabbed one of the vendor’s cleavers and destroyed the vendor’s motorbike before turning on the vendor himself. The vendor was hospitalised and police arrested the farmer. Nokorwat

Cafe Eden in Battambang

This place is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and chill out. This place is located on Street 1 in between 119th and 121th street. From 3 pm to 7 pm, happy hour is in effect so you can get a glass of ice cold beer for .50 cents. They also have a good selection of good coffee and a menu that can satisfy the most picky. The food is mostly western but that's what I like about it.  They have a breakfast menu, salad menu, sandwiches and great appetizers. So if your new to Battambang, don't forget to stop by here and enjoy the nice atmosphere. The upstairs area is air conditioned and since it's located on street #1, you get to see the busy people of Battambang go about their daily lives. The place offers free Wi-Fi and the person that runs this place is a nice women. Cafe Eden Contact: Tel: (053) 73 1525 Email: cafeedencambodia@gmail.com Website: www.cafeedencambodia.com
