Moto & Car washed in Battambang.

Driving your Moto all day is a sure way to get that red dirt stuck in your tires. Not only does it get all over your moto, but it gets into camera lens and all over your expensive Smart Phone if you carry one. Besides the Smart phone and the Camera lens, if your bike needs a washing, there are many places like the one here that does it for 2000 riel (50 cents). I have no idea what they charge for cars but it shouldn't be that much more.

So anyways, keeping a clean ride is a must for some of us and they have you driving away nice and clean just so you can get another couple coats of red dirt on it before you get home. This place is located off HWY 5 next to BBU (BattamBang University). Don't worry, if you can't find this particular one, there's many all over the city that have workers that are happy to preform this service for you.

Phnom Sampov

Phnom Sampoue is a natural resort located along the National Road No 57 at Sam Pouy Commune, approximately 12- kilometers  from the province town of Battambang. On top of this mountain are three temple sites and 3 natural water wells, namely Pkar Slar, Lo Khoun, Ak So Pheak. Also, next to Sam Pouy mountain, there are other main mountains sites like Phnom Trung Moan, Phnom Trung Tea, Phnom Neang Rum Say Sork. These mountains are related to the folk legend of Reach Kol Neang Run Say Sork. I have been to this place once and it is a nice place to visit. What I really liked was the little monkeys that don't seem to be afraid of those passing by.

S ix years ago, Ry Mam boarded an international flight from LAX with three other Cambodians and two US marshals. “If any of you try to run, we’ll shoot you,” one of the marshals told the Cambodians.
