Two Cambodians killed by Thai troops | National news

Those who choose to break the law and get caught should be dealt with with the law. Yes, cutting down trees is a big issue here in Cambodia and many try to get rich quick by getting into this trade, even going as far as crossing borders and many other things. But this should not give soldiers on either side reason to gun someone down unless the the person was armed. But yet again, this is Cambodia where things like this is a big problem and it doesn't seem like it's going away anytime soon.
What really gets me though is even when people know that illegal logging can get them into lots of trouble including death, they continue to do it. Illegal logging can be called the blood money of Cambodia, and for those that are pursuing this trade should really take into consideration that this trade should not be more important than their lives.

Phnom Sampov

Phnom Sampoue is a natural resort located along the National Road No 57 at Sam Pouy Commune, approximately 12- kilometers  from the province town of Battambang. On top of this mountain are three temple sites and 3 natural water wells, namely Pkar Slar, Lo Khoun, Ak So Pheak. Also, next to Sam Pouy mountain, there are other main mountains sites like Phnom Trung Moan, Phnom Trung Tea, Phnom Neang Rum Say Sork. These mountains are related to the folk legend of Reach Kol Neang Run Say Sork. I have been to this place once and it is a nice place to visit. What I really liked was the little monkeys that don't seem to be afraid of those passing by.
